Please read the following before placing your order:

The picture above is of the Northern Red Oak Acorns. Not all acorns look the same. Acorns can look different as each harvest area produces smaller or larger acorns, darker and or lighter acorns. Acorns don’t have an exact size or appearance in size and color.

What to expect when ordering real all-natural acorns:

  • Acorns are all-natural.
  • Acorns are not perfect. Some acorns have pin-holes, others have cracks.  We do our best to send you the best looking acorns available.
  • Acorns are a favorite food of white larvae which are tiny grubs or worms. Expect to have a few larvae crawling around your order. If you’re squirmish of tiny worms – order our baked acorns or artificial acorns.
  • Acorns have a high moisture level and contain 35% water. This means your acorns will mold quickly if they are not stored in a dry, dark, cool place. (Closets work best for storage).
  • Northern Red Oak Acorns have many different uses – wedding centerpieces, favors, seeds, displays, photo shoots, squirrel food, chipmunk food and deer feed.
  • Caps do not come on the acorns. You can purchase acorn caps separately here.
